just half a year left. and sch's starting in about a month's time. :( it's been 2 months, and have been thinking about it constantly, everyday. but what can i do? or rather, can i even do anything about the situation? that's how life is. some come and some go, you gain some and you lose some. all i can do now, is just to suck it up, live with it, and life goes on. then again, moving on is easier said than to be done, i guess i would need more time to tide me over this difficult period. however hard it is, i still have some memories that i can always hold dear to, and like what someone who once said to me, you will continue to live on in my heart. anw on a sidenote, just got back from ndc for my review. it was ok, and dr lai took a look at my splint, he can tell that i clench my teeth. it was quite obvious actually, from all the scratches on the back molar. but i was doing it all the while when im sleeping and i never knew it. i dont know why i do that, maybe im too stressed out or sth. no wonder i keep having jaw locks for the past few years until it turned into an acute lock one day when i could not opened my mouth. i was seriously very freaked out! esp when the dr told me that i needed to go for surgery on the spot. thought they might need to cut open my mouth and slice off my jaw or sth. luckily it turned out to be a minor surgery to flush out the inflamed joints. phew. so anw if i ever have any acute lock again, i still need to go for the surgery, so it's some kind of a routine, and i suppose i would have to live with this occasional jaw lock for the rest of my life. haiz. anw dr lai suggested me to go for braces. :( cos my incisors dont seem to meet. but i think it's not a very obvious thing. and my teeth are not really that out of place. even my bro and several others said i dont need the braces. so am still thinking of whether to do it, even though dr lai offered to put me on the waiting list. but maybe after wearing the braces, i can have a better bite or sth. then again, even if i decide to do it, i cant do it now. cos i dont have the money and i would have to wait for my jaw to get better first. and dr lai also suggested me to go for botox injection at the clinic, to relieve my muscle from all the clenching. LOL! no lar i wont do it, later end up i cant smile or sth. hahaha! anw i realised i have a lot of qns to ask now. but i forgot to ask him during the consultation, and the next time i will be seeing him will be in half a year's time. sian! |
